    Default Trackers too turnny !

I have a RTX/S Combo with standard black bushes and find the set up a bit too turnny for me even cranked down tight so that the bushes distort. So do you think i can just use a wedge and stiffer bushing to make it more stable but still good to carve or should i sell them and buy some R11 150's. My problem is the transition from staight ahead to full turn is too instant and i would prefere somthing more progresive.

get harder bushings mabey. if that doesnt work definitly get the randals. you will need to upgrade them to get them to perform teh best though. if you do a search there will be a TON of threads on how to make your randals the best

Tim I find the trackers amazing for slalom but I wouldn't use them for fast carving or bombing. For the downhill longboard stuff definitely you want to on Randals.

So simply put, both are excellent trucks but for different purposes.

ya, you bought slalom trucks for downhill, so no dice. they are very turny, for slalom, so, but unless you realy need the money, save the trucks, and get the randallls, and when you aquire more money set the trucks up on a slalom board.

The RTX is responsible for the behavior you are describing. Replacing it with an additional RTS will achieve exactly you what you want.

No i didn't put these on a downhill board, I put them on a Sk8 macadam that is a GS deck with heaps of flex and is 33.5 inches long. The trucks are 129 wide? The widest they make, and i have Grippins in 75a. The problem is only really my skill level. I'm 40 and havn't been on a board for 20 years. Loven't it though!

Yeah, those black hourglass are way too soft for me... try getting a couple sets of Bones Hardcores in Soft and medium...try putting the mediums closest to the baseplate and the softs closest to the kingpin nut...
Alternately, you could combine soft and medium Indy bushings....

    Default Bones Hardcore

Well I took your advice and bought some Bones Hardcore in Hard and Medium. They didn't have soft otherwise I would have bought those as well. I have it set up now with just the mediums and I am amazed at the difference. The board is now controlable. Just beautifull. But it does feel like the rear steers a different line to the front. Is this normal? Thanks everyone for your advice.
