    Default uptrucks vs. original

    has anyone ridden uptrucks?

i checked them out on hugh rs site and the uptruck company site and they seem like exactly what i want-predictable and turny, with the ability to decrease the turn radius gradually pretty much as far as you can lean, and not have a floppy vertical position like i hear the originals do.

scott from original posted that they are working on making the urethane damper more sturdy and long lasting, but as far as i know that developmet could take a year or more to reach production

i plan to put one of these two trucks with an insect cutaway and power-paw aluminators or abec-11 gumballs for a a responsive, light carving board that sticks like mad to crap pavement-generally not downhill

perhaps there are some other kind of trucks with good carving ability?
i've heard bad things about seismic so will tend away from them

Actually, Siesmics will turn like a mofo and don't have any 'dead' spots. The only downside, if it even is one, is the ajustability of these trucks. I would consider them for a carving board, esp. an Insect...
