0 - (45- 50) Kph Front: 20 Deg Rear 20 Deg ( much more that 50 and this will get a little carvey. If you rode 4 bushings per truck this will tighten it down a bit so you can still corner faster.

50 - 70 Kph Front 20 Deg Rear 10 Deg (This you can push faster if the course is tight but with long straights. I eventualy worked out to be riding on this setting at maryhill and never even came close to a twitchy board. It was all one day to late though. Ha Ha. Next time hey.

    70 - 85 Kph Front 20 Deg Rear 0 Deg (Try Front 10 rear 10)

85 - 100 kph Fromt 10 Deg Rear 0 Deg (you can still corner with these settings but it will be more for sweeping corners and more open 90 deg corners).

Ok i hope this helps. These are just my settings. you may like something completly different.
thats what Ben told me about the trucks for DH...i will be trying these setting out asap and will report back what i find out....

i'm still keen to try these trucks on a top mount speedboard- just to see what they are like...

    the mom again:
Keep us posted on how fast you get going too please. Has anyone had any issues with all the "moving parts". My fear is with so many things that can be adjusted, there is that much more to break. Are parts available should something go wrong? Is there a warranty and if so what does it cover?

Son is torn between these and smokies, so if anyone has any feedback on that choice, either pm me or post in a more appropriate thread if it doesn't belong here.

    Hi Melifont,

Here are some photos of my current downhill set up. I have been riding it for about week now at GMR. I am really enjoying it so far.

As for waranty we do honor a manufacturing waranty for 3 years against defects and we will always have parts avalible if you ever need any. Keep in mind thought there is only one adjustable part and it is not under load. The rest of the truck is solid castings.

    Here are the pics

i will keep you informed how fast i take them- we don't have runs here that are MEGA fast...so, it'll be interesting to see how they go...a lot of our roads are quite technical....

anyway, Ben- could you post a pic of your truck settings for everyone? i'll post mine and we'll see how they compare...also, you are running hard bushings all round from the looks of that pic, thats my next mod.

so far so good...bring on the DECENT weather for a change.

    Hey Melifont,

Just thought you might like these photos. The first three are our standard axle length. The second two are of our axles with the extension axles on. you can see a truck will flex with about 1500ilb or 700kg on it but once we took the weight off it sprung streight back into place. F****n cool.

avenger if you've got it...these trucks are the same height as flipped 42* 180 R2's.....looooow.

all the guys i ride with are dedicated dropmount or dropped platform riders....not one of us has a top mount speedboard...and only one of us rides a top mount regulary...

having said that i reckon the Kebbek Katana would be perfect...and at the price i found out today....daaaaaammmmmnnnn....if i were to race these trucks...that may be the setup.

take a revenger: race tail it, underflush it, wheel well it and make it a 34" WB.

    oh yes.........

i just hit AJ up about a price...and the price was pretty damn good.

Monk, How low are these trucks? Can you do a quick measure of the mounting face and the centre of the axel? Btw do you know how heavy they are?I cant seem to find the specifications for the C11 or C2.

    Cheers

That's pretty impressive all right. You might see if you can make your embeded pics bigger so more people would click to open them. Just a thought.

    how low?

in the 50mm area...bottom of the plate to the centre of the axle....

    like i've said before: loooowwww.

    C2+ 76mm wheel = 88mm high
    C2+75= 87.5mm
    C2+72=86mm
    C2+70=85mm
    C2+66=83mm

as for weight, i'll tell you after i get back from speedboarding today....woohoo!
