when i'm just going along on the street (ie not through cones) i find my randals are the best to pump on. i take a little longer to build up speed but i can go faster.

i have a 40 inch long un dropped speedboard deck with r2 baseplates and 160mm downhill hangers on it and the board can pump up a lot of speed and can keep pumping even on some steeper hills.

I like trucks that are attached to a skateboard for pumping. I've found that having wheels, bearings, and griptape are essential, too. I'm funny that way.

In all seriousness, Seismics are damn fine for the aforementioned pumping activities. Some folks don't dig the "mechanical" feel, so they're better off with a more conventional truck. It's all about choice. That and toaster pastries...

True. But I don't want any extra holes in my any of my decks.

I might get them to put on a Comet or a Fibreflex, which come drilled
    new school.

Or I'll wait untill the new ones come out, which will come drilled for
    both base plate patterns.

I'm not in a big hurry, but I do want to try the Uptrucks.
