Default Bushing set ups.

What is a good set up for bushings or Paris 180's? I'm looking for something for carving and general all around. Khiro's? Of what color?

Karrot bushings are amazing, but blue and orange khiro barrels will do ya good. Definitely a carvy bushing setup.

So I have been searching the fish all night to no avail. I still do not know the difference between cone and barrel bushings. Looks like some people use double barrel set ups, while others use a barrel and a cone. Is the only difference preference? I'm looking into buying the Khiro barrel kit and just finding out what works.

That is the best thing you can do for yourself.
What works for you is something you just have to find.....

Barrel:

The little cone is commonly referred to as a "top" or cone".

Conical:

These work great in just about every Randal style truck that you want to set up for carving.

Good bushings depend on weight and type of skating to be properly matched.

Randal bushings work awesome in the Paris truck, they make a huge difference:

This is a great way to find what is right for you:

Khiro Big Bad Bushing Kit

Holey Bushings are great too, I typically use those for replacing Bennett bushings:

Then you have speed bushings impregnated with "go fast juice" (kidding).... Work great in DH randal setups, Bears, and a few others...

Speed Bushings

Hope that helps guys.

Also, when I hear people say: "Orange on top blue on the bottom(Of Khiro barrels)" Does that mean that one should put the large part of the two parts of the barrel bushings on both the top on the bottom, or does that mean that the big blue part should be the bottom and the small orange part should be on the top? Does that make sense?

I love this bushing set-up for paris trucks (without karrot or venoms), Orange khiro barrel top, paris stock barrel shape bottom in front. In the back Orange khiro barrel top and blue khiro barrel bottom. And the paris bushings may be crap, but when paired up like that it helps give the board rebound since their stiffer and let's you pump easier and further distances. Very very responsive. I have them set up on my loaded dervish with Otangs.

It means that the bigger barrel shape part should be on top AND bottom.

try getting a larger kingpin from ace and put a khiro white top/bottom on the bottom and a khiro white top/and bottom on the top. so there would be 2 tops and 2 bottoms on each truck

Ohhh. So that means one has to buy four sets of bushings total. Yeesh. What difference does it make?

my bushing set up in my randals, for freeride and slopestyle is incredible... smoothest turning setup i have ever ridden.

front truck:

abec 11 83a bottom , no washer

2 halves of blue khiros, with a cut half of white khiro in the middle. ( yeah it sounds weird haha)------ ill try to get some pics up of it soon

back truck:

abec 11 88a bottom, with washer

orange karrot bushing top

this setup is amazing
