Default Axles on New Bear 852's

Does anyone know if LY made the axles stronger on the new Bear 852's (the ones with the pumpkin bushings)? My friend sheared one completely off during a slide and since then I have seen a lot of reports on the Fish about bent and broken axles on Bears. I like the trucks but it makes me a little nervous about taking them to speed. Thanks

if you're so scared, just get the 10mm ones, seems like an easy fix to me.

Actually, I already have the 10mm ones. They are from the first production run (different baseplates) and as you know there has been a problem with the hangers breaking around the king pin hole. That problem seems to have been fixed with the new Bears but I never could figure out if they also strengthened the axle.

The new hangers have stronger axles. The older 8mm ones had butter soft axles.

New ones have great axels. I abuse mine and they still stand fine.
