Default Randal 180's and bushings

Well...i'm looking for new bushings but from reading about the randal's im confused on what type of bushing will fit. Can you guys help me? I really don't know much about bushings..is it the softer the more carvy or something like that? I like to carve and pump, but i also like to bomb down garages every now and then...i dont know what would work and which ones will fit!

I have Randal RII 180's, and just put on some Bones Hardcore Mediums.

Only bombed on decent hill since I set these up 20 mins ago, but they performed fine. Very curvy I must say.

They are a BITCH to get onto the kingpins though. It was the hardest thing I have ever done to my skateboard.

Yes. The bones ones are very hard to get onto the Randal kingpin. I actually used a larger drill bit and drilled out the middle to widen it up so i could get it on there. So you like to carve and pump, then you want a bushing with great rebound. I would say go for the khiro barrel bushings. There are more choices and you can customize it so you can have different bushings. How much do you weigh?

And to answer your question, you can use any bushings on the randal's. It is just a matter of how high the bushing puts the hangar. With the Bones bushings i had to flip the bottom cup washer and put a flat washer on top of that, then i used a flat washer for the top bushing before the nut.

Holey bushings work really well on my randals. They self center really well and have a 'poppy' feeling to them. If you're a lighter person I would go with the ruby reds, or if you're heavier 190+ I would go with the blue ones.

I have both duros and use them on all of my setups, you can't go wrong!
