Just Broke Two Mounting Screws Last Night - Where to Get New Ones?

Hey guys, I was skating last night and two of the screws that mounted trucks to the board broke. They were stock hardware from Daddies and the heads popped clean off.

I'm riding a droptrough board (dervish), so there is quite a sizable amount of weight on the screws, so where should I go to buy the best quality button head screws I can get?

when you go look for a cabinet that said grade 8 steel

not the aluminum ones

I find Socket head bolts are better for drop throughs

10x32tpi steel button head screws from most any hardware store.
You may wish to add washers if using for a drop thru or composite deck.

Dude, you probably need to replace the whole flux capacitor then. Try MIle High or the like, or an auto parts store. Home Depot and Lowes never seem to carry bolts with 32 tpi. At least not where I live, they only have up to 28.

I tend to have good luck at Ace hardware or True Value when looking for hardware.

And it doesn't need to be 10x32..10x24 works fine, you just need to have the matching nutz

Coarse threads have less strength, don't know if it matters with skate hardware though.
