Default Randal r2 125mm? anyone ridden them?

Im looking to put together a badass campus cruiser mini-board, im looking at a flexdex mini-grenade, or a LBL humu..something along those lines. but i've always preferred reverse kingpin trucks like randals, but flexdex and lbl allways put oldschool trucks like trackers on their boards. so im guessing got to be something to thier logic. so my question is has anyone rode r2-125'' on a mini board opposed to tracker type trucks? do 125''r2 perform on a mini or should i stick with the classics?

if anyone has setup suggestions to im oppen to hearing them. thanks!

I really enjoy my set of randal 125s. I have them set up on a 28-30 flexy slalom type mini right now and before i had it set up on a 26 inch homemade mini. They are great! I have a wedge in front dewedge in back and setup with the right bushings they are great. I have them up right now with some softass 75a bushings, which makes for a smooth plush ride. I wish i had some harder bushings though just for the more rebound, but anyways they are nice and divey.

Love mine, got them on a 19" wb - wedged 50° plate front and a dewedged 42° back.
great turn, super stable. (given how much it turns)

Yay, finally someone's talking about using 125's on a Flexdex. I thought I was the only one who did this. I'm actually running them on my Classic 29 and they feel amazing. I wedged my front truck to be a total of 52 degrees, the flex increases the degrees in a hard pump or carve, rear truck probably 32 degrees. I can pump this from a standstill. I do run mine loose, so I don't go charging down any hills, but I carve up those sidewalks. Go for it! Be different, you won't be disappointed!

About my board, I didn't have any real wedges to run on this, and really don't like running it this way, fear of base plate stress. I do plan on getting some Khiro wedges on my next skateshop run. Otherwise, the ride's amazing. I actually rode someone's RT C29, but prefer the way this one feels, can pump it quite hard, and not tire out or spin out. I probably should have someone video clip me pumping this baby down the street.
