Default Variations of the Blue Stimulator Bushings

I just bought some really solid blue stims.
I own many blue-green or aqua-blue stims,
but i remember hearing something about one being very different.
How are the solid dark blue different tham the blue-green stims?

Is solid blue an older or younger batch?

Also to anyone who knows, How can you tell which Yellow stims are the right ones to buy?
I know that one yellow is too soft, but how do you tell from an image in the classifieds?

My understanding:

Yellow Stims are soft - 75a or so
Blue Stims are hard - 92a or so

Green can either be 75a OR 85a

I wanted to know from everyone that when Ape-shite when they all went unavailable and MHMark was the only one selling off his stock of blues.
i guess someone here has experience with both early and late 80's batches.

I've had blue Stims of all types, from very blue to marbled teal and faded. They all basically work the same. I've never had a bad Stim.

Colors/hardnesses that I've had over the years:

Yellow - Soft, medium, hard
Green - Soft, medium
Blue - hard

As anyone who knows Stims knows, "hard" is relative. A (supposedly) 92a Stim and a 92a Khiro are vastly different things.
