Default anyone else have Carver Trucks?

I have a set of 5.0 trucks on my 38 inch commuter/carver and I love how it carves down hills. they're so turny. carving and pumping is awesome on these trucks. I wonder how they'll do on a shorter deck.

does anyone else ride these trucks?

there are videos and specs at:
    http://www.carverskateboards.com/

and you can purchase some at:

I've been thinking about those trucks for a while.
I tried to contact Carver, but you can't buy from them.

Now that loose trucks has them, I might have to give them a try.

What would be the best deck to go with those? Wheels?
I'm thinking maybe something like a 36" Comet DH Spoon nose or
something. I dunno. Needs a kicktail, right? To get that tic tac sort
of thing going on that they show in the video. Some sort of self propulsion, but a little different than regular pumping.

I think you explained it before LBL. Seems cool.
    I like their video's.

Yeah, I got some and they are pretty fun...got the big ones and put them on an old TVS Yancey Meyer DeathPod... feels really weird hopping back on a "normal" setup after, though.....
One word of warning... you are gonna want small wheels with these things on most decks.. 60 or 61 mm tops, even with about 3/8 riser on the front ...due to the geometry of the front truck... the wheels tend to bite way in on the board.. further in than most cutouts or wheelwells I have ever seen... I'm ruinning Powell 60mm 85a Bombers on mine and it's a really fun ride.... tried 64mm... to avoid the bite had to run em too tight to really get the proper ride out of them....
    Longboard is not a verb.

which size would you recommend for a 9.25 wide deck? would the 6.5 be too wide? that fluidity just looks sweet.

how high do they feel - is it about the same as randals? or does the height just feel totally different with an extra swivel point?

lastly, does anyone have experience with their completes, like how their own decks and wheels are? do their decks have wheel wells? it doesn't look like it from the photos, but has anyone actually seen 'em? the laird hamilton and the pinstripe look mighty fine.

That means you can pump and carve like your surfing Bro!

when they say this, does this mean that you cna have your weight on the back and do the thing that short boarders do to gain speed (whipping the fornt end abck and forth)

Yeah, you can tic-tac with your front wheels on the ground.
