Has anyone tinkered with baseplate angles on a KebbeK Caften and figured out what they think a magical combo for front and rear? Thanks!

My favorite is 35degree trucks for the Caften, but I have liked 40 degree Grizzly Bears and I am now running 42degree 180mm Randals for low speed stuff.

Thanks Mellow that was exactly what I was lookin' for.
I have a set of 190mm smokies on my bambo caften, split axel trucks tend to work best with the high angle on the front of the caften, they have more grip therefore tame the front quite nicely. I when one step further and had a 30* smokie plate cnc'ed even tho the axel was in the same plane(height) as the 40* the front drop some.
I'm in the process of playing with risers to see what will be the optimun height, I'm starting with 1/4 and maybe I'll try 3/8. Try some spit axel trucks you will defently like them on the caften. Smokie, Kooky. When i'm talking aboput risers I meant for the hole board, not just the front. The Smokies are very low and with the 1.6" of drop it takes a lot of effort to turn the deck.
