Default Grizzlies - 8mm vs. 10mm?

I want a set of black trucks for my Mosquito, and I love the feel of my friend's grizzlies, but I don't know what the difference between 8mm and 10mm is. Only the 8mm come in black, though. Anyone know?

i have the black, and they are really nice cuz you can flip it and it has a different geometry, which is cool, but takes a bit of time to do. ive heard a lot about the 10 mm being much sturdier, but i think as long as you dont get TOO crazy with your slides and stuff you should be fine with 8 mms

8 and 10mm refer to the axle diameter. 10mm is obviously stronger. Most trucks have 8mm axles so if you get 10m you will have to get different bearings for on those trucks.

10mm strong but bearings are limited....
8mm much better and when you destroy you bears you can switch to something else without having to buy new bearings as well

I don't really want to be replacing my trucks every other week, though.

Not really. 6900 series bearings are an industrial commodity just like 608's. Every bicycle shop on the planet has them.

That's only with the bear 1052's.
The new batches for the 1052's haven't come out yet, so i'd suggest waiting.
