I picked up some Randal R2 180 trucks for my Dervish, but I seem to be running into some difficulty.
My trucks won't return to center after I turn. For example, if I turn hard and hop off of my board, it would do a u-turn in the street. In my experience, that's not normal.
I'm running the bushings Randal gave me, I don't know the duro, but they're red. I also got some nylon washers and put those between the baseplate and the deck. The washers are a little thick, but they still go all the way through and go through the nut on the bottom, so I don't think that's the problem, but it still might be relevant.
Too tight. Those reds are kinda sucky, too.
Also, sometimes a cupped top washer will bite into the bushing causing that little bugger to stick.
Check the tightness, and wax your bushings.

I tightened and loosened them, but they're still sticking. Would just waxing them be a reasonable alternative to picking up new ones?
My bushings were on the wrong way. I hadn't screwed with them, so I guess Randal must have messed up. That's a little shocking though. It has to have been my fault.

Think about dumping those stock bushings altogether, theres a plethora of far better options out there. Karrot's Abec 11 bushings are superb, Khiros (lack luster rebound-wise, but definitely an upgrade from those stock randals), and other bushings.
Swapping those tame stock bushings out for some better quality ones, will really help your trucks come alive, the difference is like night and day.
I had the same problem and I noticed that the new Randal's have the pivot cup too tight against the hanger pivot. I solved the problem swaping the new pivot cups for the old ones. Trucks are ok now with perfect return to center (bushings are the stock ones).

+1
I also changed my bushings but i had the same experience. the pivot cups are actually so tight that the hanger stays in place even with NO bushings inside the truck
