Default Crails vs. Fastracks (for Avenger)

So ya, I have never ridden the Fasty's and have never top mounted Crails. The bushing setups I got are endless with Tracker Stims, white Jimz's, Abec11 reflex stims are soon to come, and well as venoms (probably). So help me out god damn it.

With red bennets all around, fastracks are very maneuverable and alive at low speed, the medium duro bushings they come with keep the board really stable ( l love bennet all front, bottom bennet top stock for the back), and flipping the trucks gives them a whole new character. I'd go with the fastracks

I actually just put a new set of crails (the ones with the new moog bushings) on an avenger today while i was at work. i didnt get a chance to ride it too much, but cruising around with them pretty loose they feel really nice. though the new bushings still might be a little hard depending on what you're using them for.

with a very thin riser (1/8th in. i think) and 76mm superballs, it did look like it was going to bite though... so depending on what wheels you intend to run, something to think about maybe.

on another note, the board sits nice and low with the crails. i expected it to be higher as a topmount and i had heard the crails are higher than randals. but it seems really nice.

as soon as i hit a few of my local runs this weekend (hopefully tomorrow!) i'll let you know how they feel on the dh. initial build quality seems great though.

EDIT: So, I took this setup to a light run near my house. It's fairly slow and only has a few wide sweepers, it's probably around 15 to 20 tops. Regardless, I hit this a couple times and the bushings are pretty hard as i had thought previously. The board turns fine with the front pretty loose, and the rear moderately loose, but there isn't too much feel with these.

I also got some pretty bad wobbles in the back with this setup. The first few runs I didn't take too hard, but felt the back get a little light a couple times. I originally chalked this up to new setup woes. But my last run I took from higher up and was unpleasantly surprised when i started to get pretty damn bad wobbles towards the end of the run. I was running the rear trucks relatively loose as I said, and I'm sure the crappy tuck I had going on had something to do with it, but I've taken this run perfectly smoothly on extremely loose r2's on a dervish with no problems, so I'll see what I can do with some different bushings.

I only took a few runs as it was after work and had started to get dark, but I'm going to tighten the back up a tad and will probably get rid of the stock bushings as I said. I'll see how it goes.
