If you put in red indies, they'd carve even less. Pivots suck...But...

I'd go with some medium hardcores.

unfortunetly pivots wont even minorly carve. mine are wedged, and have yellow doh-dohs in them and are marginally better.

they are actually okay to slide bedcause if you try to do any kind of turn they are just gonna make the wheels break free anyway.

    the geometry baffles me

Wait...I thought Indy Reds were the harder ones.

Go with Bones Hardcore Soft blues.

    Much better.

the pivots from my cosmic 2 didnt turn at all and were real stable on that but the pivots on the cloud 9 i got are so turny and unstable its ridiculous. Thats just ridiculous that two sets of the same trucks can do that when the ones on the cosmic were wedged out and the deck flatens out under your weight and they still barely turn but the ones that are just flat turn like hell....

Heh, I just rebuilt my Cloud 9 after going home for the T-Day break. Slapped some bones blues (which are going to live on my randals with stims (!) when they come in sometime after Christmas. I wedged them with some tracker risers. They're stupid unstable to the point where just flat-land pushing I can feel just slighty what seems like a speed wobble. So I de-wedged the rear truck (just 'cause I didn't feel like having to put more risers or anything on this beast) and now it's a little more tolerable to me.

After riding seismics for the last half-year and a landy DH for the last month and half, I was expecting to fall off this board and break my arse... but it's not too bad.

There's just no way in hell this board could be for anything more than crusing/commuting, especially with only 70mm wheels... SO SLOWWWW...

trial and error. Just screw around with different combos. try hour glasses and flipping the big and small bushing with each other. Pound out your king pin and sodder a long one in, then use three bushings on each truck.

Or, buy new truck and make a sculpture out of your pivots.

Dubs, 94a really nice sliders. They actually belong to bilzo
Only problem is they use micro bearings, and those are really hard to find.

Alva eh, any idea why they use micro bearings? also are they bigger or smaller than normal bearings?
    Are there any advantages?

    micro meaning small, smaller bearings.
I don't really know why, other than to piss me off. My local skate shop had a set in once, but someone bought it the first day.
The bearings might be slighty lighter, not to much.
Other than the bearing, the wheels are awesome for sliding
