Default Trucks for an Urban Assault

ok well i just bought an urban assault because i really like how easy it is to pump and push and i would like to know what trucks would make it really perform. i have already tried R-IIs (180mm) wedged so that the angles are more like dh trucks. i tried many different bushing combos like stims/indy reds supercrush 90a and a few more. this was not very good. Im going to use this board for getting around. i want it to turn tight and i might do a few ollies or something. BTW i am getting DH trucks tomorrow for a christmas present.

Jody designed the UA to have DH trucks on it. Before the landyachtz DH was on market, the UA was the origanol DH. You can find it on Hugh Rs site. If I find a link Ill post it.

The DH-UA *edit* was actually designed to be used with Independents... 149 or 159 with a sideset/flatback wheel and 169 with a centerset one... whatever you use, you might wanna de-wedge the rear truck a bit so that more of your steering comes from the front... othewrwise, the back end can get pretty whippy on you, which can be kinda disconcerting at speed...........

the dh ends angles are both different. i use the front of the board where the angles go up almost vertical, and the back as the one that gradually rises. its really stable and turns better then riding it the other way.

I have a Landyachtz Urban Assault. I had it set up with Randal DH trucks and it was nice and stable but not as carvy as I liked. I ordered a set of Original S6 trucks for a different board off ebay ($43 with shipping) but ended up playing around with the my new trucks on the UA. After some adjustments I ended up really liking the UA with an Original truck in front and a Randal DH in back. It made the board quick and responsive but still reasonably stable. I don't have a set of seismics, at least not yet, so I can't really comment on them. :P
