Default Chris Chaput style board with randals

I plan on making a chris chaput style dropthrough deck, I was planning on useing it for just a lil dh, plenty of sliding, and just getting around. In his plans he uses the randal speedboard truck which are 170mm I believe, I cant afford these trucks so do ya'll think I should get 180s or 150s, I'd like 150s for their turniness but would they created a problem with wheelbite on the chris chaput style board? My only concern is that if I try to narrow the ends so they don't bite it might make them too weak.

youll be much safer downhilling on 180s than 150s and still have a lot of turniness as long as you use the right bushing combos.

get the 180s......they still good for sliding and are stable for downhill

or you can buy a DH baseplate and have a 180 hanger which is super stable yet turny
