Default Tracker rtx/rts vs. Randal 150

Hello, this is the first thread I've started, so I apologize if I messed up.

Just wondering if anyone that has experience with both randal 150 and Tracker rts/rtx could give their opinion. I'm thinking of setting up a Rayne timeline with the Trackers, but I have no experience with them. Here are my questions:

    1. What is the difference in feel between the trucks?
    2. What is the difference in ride height?
    3. How do you choose the hanger width for trackers? (129, 139, 149, etc)
    4. Is wheelbite more common with the rts/rtx or the Randals?

I'm leaning towards the trackers from what I've read so far - it seems they are more pumpable and lower? Any other setup suggestions (Paris 150? Indy? wedging?) are welcome.

    Apples to Oranges
They are both very pump able trucks, the Randals will be a bit more stable at speed. The RTX will be a bit tippier and quick responding, while the RTS compliments it with it's "tailing" characteristics

I'd go with the rtx/s, or a bennett front if you can

the randals will be more stable, taller, and less agile

For that board I'd go with the Trackers. They aren't as tall as Randals but with the generous cutouts that board has, wheelbite is not going to be a problem anyhow. Plus with all the camber you don't need any extra height. I'd go with some soft 65 or 66mm square edged slalom wheels too for ultra GS grip when carving hard.

There are more factors then just agility. They turn and feel very different. Technicly i think the Randals have a higher degree of geometery(or whatever you call it)
randals are about a half inch taller then Rt-X/S or any standard trucks for that matter.
The advantage of Rt-X/S is that b/c its lower you can use more wedging to get the ride you desire.
I'd go with the Rt-X/S if you want to spend extra money on wedging.
I'm planning on using 6.0 Bennet with a 6* angled riser and 42* RAndal 150mm...
Of course that requires for me to recieve mine.

Thanks for the responses. I am going to get the Trackers, but does anyone have width suggestions?
In searching, I saw a lot of people doing 139mm set-ups and a few with 139 in front and 149 in the back. I was going to get both at 149 so i could possibly try the trackers on other boards in the future, but I still don't understand how people decide. I'm not sure 10 mm would even make a noticeable difference.

Racetracks. Also try a Bennett and a Randal 150 on a 42 degree baseplate or a Bennett and an RTS. The Timeline works well with a slalom style setup. Though a pair of Randals works, it does not bring out the full potential of that deck.

Just make sure you use harder bushings in the rear and you won't have to worry about tippy stability issues. EC also makes a good point, randals will be much taller than wedged+dewedged racetracks. or Bennet/Racetrack combos

Tracker RTS/X are the most fun trucks I have tried, including Indys, Randals, Grizzleys, and Tracker Darts. I would get the 149s. They are a blast.

Also if you have the extra cash run Venoms on the bottom and Bones on the top. Duro will depend on your weight, etc.
