Bushing differences?

Hey I was just wondering what the difference was between harder and softer bushings? Like what do they benefit the rider more in? sliding, cruising etc??

hey darko, this forum is aaaaaaaaaactually focused more on building the actual longboard rather than picking out parts. Try the truck forum if you wanna know about bushings, those guys know it all. But more importantly...

use the search function and research before you ask a simple question, otherwise some of the guys on here will rain hard on ya.

to answer your question: harder bushings make the trucks less responsive but more stable, whereas softer bushings allow your trucks to tilt farther and turn faster. Now, there is a ton of info out there on this, so use that search and see what you get. In a nutshell (a realllllly small nutshell, its a big topic), harder bushings are seen more on boards designed to go fast, where you want a stable ride, and softer bushings are found on slalom and slide boards.
