Re: Tarantula trucks
There is s a thread on here already about these things, you can search. Also check out youtube there is a whole video about them as well.
Seem kind of pointless to me.

Re: Tarantula trucks
i think they're sick. If you put enough risers on it, couldn't you effectively lower your ride height stupidly low with these?

Re: Tarantula trucks
Imagine 4 inches worth of mounting hardware, and then think of the force it takes to turn your board, then think about hard carving. None of that will last. This is kinda a how else can we define the wheel kinda truck. doesnt really add anything, nor does it take away (actually it does take away but im not going there).

Re: Tarantula trucks
I think they are pretty cool looking, mostly cause someone was thinking outside the box.
They seem like they would flex all over the place. I'm not sure I'd ride them around much.

why 4 inches?
looks to me like those freak of nature hangars will be done and bent after one crash into something

Re: Tarantula trucks
Definitely a because we can / why not sort of thing.
Looks like it would only work with side-set wheels. Your feet would run into the wheels bigtime while pushing. I dare someone to go around a corner at any speed with these. One axle would bend into the board and the other would bend open.
Then again, maybe there's some special niche in skateboarding that will open up, that only becomes possible because of these. Doubt it, but who knows?

Re: Tarantula trucks
The metal looks thin I would think they would bend after riding a little bit. You probably couldn't even jump on them.

Re: Tarantula trucks
these were at asr. kai wrote about them.
