    Default randal 150 bushing problem

    this is pissing me off.. i bought randal 150s for my timeline f2 and i put them on my crap s9 until it comes.. and ive noticed that NONE of my bushings line up in the ring that houses the bushing, the little lip around where the pin comes through. the only bushings that work are the stock ruby reds and they suck.. they are so hard and NOT turny.. which is what i like. also i think i ruined my khiro blue conical (built in washer) bushings because they were off center in the lip and now have a dent like thing shaped like the ring it was housed in..


    should i sell them or buy bushings from randal, (the yellow ones because i hear they are good for my weight, 140)

    also, if any of yiu have recomended bushing set ups..

    my bushing list.

    two red khiro barrels
    two blue conical TOPS (bottoms are in my chargers)
    full set (two trucks) worth of ruby reds
    red khiro tops (they are really tiny and two of them match the height of my conical bottom)
    stock charger bushing tops (bottoms are in my chargers)

    so yeah. help? please

    sounds like you're having issues with the cup-washers?

    get flat washers, or you can pound one flat for the bottom, and run the top one upside-down.
    Khiro barrels are also about 2mm shorter than a randal bottom, so you'll probably want to run an extra washer on the baseplate side.

    not the washers at all.. ive heard that story and as soon as i heard it i swapped my washers, and im not even running washers.

    what im saying is the bushings do not like up with the trucks. at all.

    and bucksaw told me not to run washers. or was it savage.. idk

    Sounds like you're fighting Pythagoras.

    Khiro barrels need two on the baseplate side, the insert ones don't need a top washer.

    ok. i think i got it fixed.. but i clead out my pivot cups because i put soap in them, and i havent been able to ride because they arent mounted and its 11 at night and im injured. so yeah

    I think hes saying that the bushing is not lining up with the bushing seat of the randal truck and the bushing is getting messed up by it.

    ^yup. I just noticed this on my 150's too. The hanger's bushings seat molding is too restrictive, which limits my choice of aftermarket bushings.
