    Default Radikal Talon axles

I just put some Radikal hangers on my Hellcat. (42 plates)
I used a small dot of loctite on the threading, but even then it sketches me out a bit.
The threading is not that long, so I'm wondering if anyone's heard of them backing out.
The setup feels great, so I'm inclined to push the board even harder, but I don't want to discover
something wrong at 50mph... Any thoughts? I've read that loctite is a good solution, but do you think
JB Weld would be overkill? (it would be permanent)

i had a good friend who used them without locktite, and they did pretty well, he just checked them after each day of riding. a bit of locktite should be fine. not a great design though

I have three sets of radikal trucks, two slalom and one dh I have never had an axel back out on me. All of mine are coarse thread (new ones)

We just had a GS session on Sunday 30 to 35mp and no problem, tide them hard
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, cold beer in one hand - longboard in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming, Yeaa Haaa What A Ride!!!

Cool, thanks for the input everyone. Even a little bit of reassurance helps!
Hauling @$$ doesn't worry me with these axles, as much as pre-drifting or sliding would.
I guess it's just a matter of keeping an eye on them before every session. Over all, these hangers
feel great. I have them set up at 195mm (I think?) and they're super smooth. (even with the sphericals)

I have had my rad axles in my trucks for many months now, i havnt taken the axles out once, and they are still tight as hell in there, a few sessions of wheel killing pendys and a few 50mph runs and still good to go. I wouldnt worry about it at all.

    Sphericals make them smooth.

I have been DH'ing on my 35/35 radikals since june of 2008, so that would be 7 solid months of riding.

I put the longer axles on the day i got the trucks (7 months ago) with red locktite.

I have not bothered to even check to see if they have come loose because i know they wont.

I have switched the wheels out on those hangars probably 10 times since then too.

I pendy with them, i have hit 50 mph with them and everything in between.
