Looking at the baseplate angles would be a good start.

"Too" stable would mean that you could barely turn, wich is a bad thing for DH. Stable is more up to you than the board IMO. And with the large wheelbase of the Demonseed, even regular 50/50 would be resonabley "stable"...
Listen to SteveC and consider a 35/50 setup, that`ll give you a good "best of both worlds"

umm sorry but the threadjack but would a kebbek flushcut with force c7's turn much? it has a shorter wheelbase than the demonseed if that makes a large difference... if not ill just find a R7 plate or something

Go for crails, they are awesome! Best Dh truck out there except the Kahalani's IMO. They are 45 degrees wich is perfect on the demonseed. And I cannot think of many trucks that would make the Demonseed unstable, I used Holeys for a while with not a single wobble ever.

With those trucks at a 35 degree angle (the force's) and the demonseed having a nice big wheelbase, i'd get the Crails. I run Bears on my reflex 44 (the reflex 44 is almost exactly the same in terms of specs and feel) and its surprisingly versatile.

I'm not big on 50* front, 35* back personally. I know it's a great set up for some people though, so I certainly won't knock it. I've always felt more comfortable on set ups in which truck geometry was equal, but I either tightened the back more or used harder bushings. But that's just me.

p.s. Crails on a Demonseed would be really sweet. Especially with some softer reboundy bushings.

I don't know if this applies to the demonseed, but I'm not a fan of both 35* Force plates when i put it on a hellcat. SteveC is right, I had to lean like a mofo just to get it to turn. Considering that the demonseed has a dropped platform and a drop through, I think 50* would be enough. I can't comment on Crails though as I haven't tried them.

Force trucks are extremely linear feeling (they feel a bit like Grizzlies). Crails feel more progressive, and can be easily adjusted for feel with a simple bushing change. When I ran Forces, I could never get a deep, progressive feel.

I used to have C7's on my Kebbek flushcut. It felt horrible. Then I went with a 50 degree randal up front and it feels amazing now. But if the choices are either c7's or crails.....

    Crails all the way.

Crails all the way on a d-seed. Get some soft-ish reboundy bushings and its a lot of fun.

    crails are ok
    c7s are ok
50* randals are the best cast truck for that board
lots of turn, still super stable
40* bears might be good too

You really recommend Bears over Crails?!?!?! Seriously? I've ridden all of the above, and Randals and Crails are by far the best options. Bears have the worst dead spot of any trucks I've ever ridden.

crails feel too stiff and dead imo
bears actually feel ok with good bushings
still, randals > crails, c7, bears

I definitely agree with karrot on this one. I've been riding crails on me Dseed for a while now. While they're nice and comfortable on bombs, they are definitely dead, not what I'd want for just messing around on. A 50 degree truck would be much better.
