Re: official Truck Failure thread...
^^ describe how it broke.
slamming it into the curb doesn't count...
btw, I did see a broken crail plate on some kid's drop thru deck.
stevie, I had a very narrow G-truck (90mm)
I pulled out the axle for 8mm conversion
and guess what,
there were two small axles, solid aluminum in the middle...

Re: official Truck Failure thread...
it didnt just hit a curb, it tapped a curb very lightly (the kind of impact you would expect any truck to stand up too) and then failed while carving and flung me into a hedge in spectacular style.
randal were cool about it though. sent me a new plate. eccelent customer service and now that im riding the trucks their worth it.

United State's Law, document ORS 693.030, states that all "Official Threads" must be certified and licensed by the district attorney presiding over the thread creator's home state.

The middle pic is mine!
when it happened i called liam at landy, he seemed very apologetic and sent me a new hanger and a set of pumpkins, because it shreaded my brand new venom barrel! i was very satisfied with the customer service.except i had to pay shippng from canada..but other then that it was great. im waiting for my other old hanger to blow. ut im shredding on it just as hard and its still going strong
as for the new bears, i think they fixed all the previous issues. i love randals but i ride more sets of bears then anything else.

Re: official Truck Failure thread...
This thread is starting to make me doubt my bears more and more...
The bushing seats suck on mine, and I saw my friend snap both stock kingpins that came with his bears. His axles are also bent to hell, but still rideable.
