Re: Sabre Trucks
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Right just to clear some things up
Sabre mod: Done in house by Octane Sport nothing to do with lush/Sabre
Bushings for sperical: Venom Eliminators the sabre bushing wouldn't fit with
the bearing protruding from the bushing seat .
Sabres DO NOT suffer from slop any more than any other truck visit the website octanesport.com
and see for yourselves .
Edit see above Stridey explains it far better

Re: Sabre Trucks
Been riding these for a few weeks now, mostly in the parking garage as its raining all the time here. Ive got them on a Sayshun Speed with race forms. I like them a lot. Very clean workmanship, I didnt have to dremel them at all. Everything feels very precise for a cast truck. I feel like they have a stronger center than either randal or paris 180s (the only comparable trucks ive spent any real time on). They feel really comfortable and stable on the straightaway. The turning is progressive and smooth. I havent taken them up to any impressive speeds but they handled everything I threw at them just fine.

Re: Sabre Trucks
I got a pair of these, and the first thing I did was put Venoms in 'em
I have a bunch of skateboards
Isn't this what you're supposed to put in a signature?

Really? So does this mean that you werent impressed with "the most advanced urethane formula in the world"?
Quiver:
Decks: Sector 9 pintail, Comet FSM, Comet Voodoo Doll
Trucks: Gullwing, Randall, Sabres
Wheels: Orangatang, Abec 11, EW
"Its much like the commitment that i use when i start to enter a steep dh section on my longboard. I will not be able to to jump off; this is a sport of perfection in commitment. The consequences of a mistake can be fatal, but it is not the reason why i commit. It is my fate, the control of my life. You see, I am not afraid of dying; I am afraid of not living."

Re: Sabre Trucks
Sabre bushings are completely rad. Some people find them soft for speed but I have no idea why. Sick!
What's the worst that could happen?

People weigh more or the formula differs in durometer then the bushings they are most accustomed to?

Re: Sabre Trucks
My new sabres arrived today (bought them from octane sport in the uk). Cant comment on the ride cos it's too snowy to skate here at the moment. They look quality though.
