    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Right just to clear some things up
Sabre mod: Done in house by Octane Sport nothing to do with lush/Sabre
Bushings for sperical: Venom Eliminators the sabre bushing wouldn't fit with
the bearing protruding from the bushing seat .
Sabres DO NOT suffer from slop any more than any other truck visit the website octanesport.com
    and see for yourselves .

Edit see above Stridey explains it far better

As noted, the spherical fitted Sabres work best with Vennom eliminator bushings, which are....er.... designed to work with SPHERICAL bearings!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Works with the standard Sabre kingpin. Its a tight fit on the top face, but works.

A spherical eliminates the slight sideways dive that occurs. I say on the website that some people LIKE the dive. Some dont. Just another alternative in the mix. Maybe try one hanger (front I'd expect)...?

Its a totally non authorised, non approved mod. Not a Sabre offerring at all.

And we can do the mod to ANY truck you like.

    These are the US distros:
    USA
    Eastern Skate Supply
    6612 Amsterdam Way
    Wilmington
    North Carolina 28405
    +1 910 791 8240
Eastern Skateboard Supply :: America's only true one-stop wholesale shop.

    Indaba Distribution
PO Box 1895, Carlsbad, CA 92018
    +1 760 722 4111
Tailtap.com - Skateboard Shop For Pools, Parks & Pipes

Personnally I'd hit up Tailtap. They arnt listed on their site, but as I know that initial supplies of trucks went on high end Lush completes, then to distros as seperate trucks only very recently they may still be in boxes on the way to the US.

I have ridden them standard on my Evo and more recently with Stridy's spherical enhancement. Even though it sounds contradictory, for both stability and turn they piss all over my Randal 180's. Maybe Randals with a longer kingpin and some sabre bushings would even the score?

It's cheaper to get them from Longboard Skater. Support your local Fish retailer

Been riding these for a few weeks now, mostly in the parking garage as its raining all the time here. Ive got them on a Sayshun Speed with race forms. I like them a lot. Very clean workmanship, I didnt have to dremel them at all. Everything feels very precise for a cast truck. I feel like they have a stronger center than either randal or paris 180s (the only comparable trucks ive spent any real time on). They feel really comfortable and stable on the straightaway. The turning is progressive and smooth. I havent taken them up to any impressive speeds but they handled everything I threw at them just fine.

Sabre bushings are completely rad. Some people find them soft for speed but I have no idea why. Sick!

People weigh more or the formula differs in durometer then the bushings they are most accustomed to?

My new sabres arrived today (bought them from octane sport in the uk). Cant comment on the ride cos it's too snowy to skate here at the moment. They look quality though.
