Mini logos or bones reds?

Need a new bearing,for my new set of retro freerides.Mini logos are $20 bones reds are $30 .IIs it worth paying the extra money for the bones reds,are they noticeably faster?

the reds were really smooth i have to say and quick enough - they rusted and died i'd say a little quicker than some generic abec 5s that i had - same water abuse
i just bought some mini logos today, see how i go ey

Yeh im an ausie.
I actually got the retro freerides from ebay US,and i payed $78 aussie dollars including postage.
Just type in retro freeride on eBay - New & used electronics, cars, apparel, collectibles, sporting goods & more at low prices. If you go into sellers stroe he has lime,lemon and orange available.

Let me know how the mini logos are,either pm me,or let me know in this thread please.

I prefer reds because shields are easily removable for cleaning.

yo pepper, the freerides are somethign like $85 on boardshop. somehow i sense they wont stay that cheap for long so better grab a set soon..

Uhhmm, speed cream IS the stock lubrication.......


Minilogos seem to need a little break-in, but after that they are just as fast as any other bearing.

Sorry bout giving misinformation there, Put some mini-logos in my gf's board and they never seemed to pick up properly but get slower from visit to visit. Seems like she never rides it and I assembled it for nothing and I can take it back of her as it is actually really nice, yay!

Reds... minilogos... whatever. They are both chinese manufactured bearings designed by the same crew (powell). You honestly won't notice a difference.

i gotta chime in and vote for mini logos.

Ive had better luck on one set than a couple sets of reds... I find the reds slow down after a while, but the minilogos keep running strong

It might be that the shield is more sealed, maybe? I pop off one side of each bearing, face them inside the wheel, and cleaning is still pretty easy with one side. Maybe I bent shields on reds too mucH?

I have both and I find that the Mini Logos are better.

They are faster, smoother, and quieter than my Reds and Blitins (I'm very disappointed with my blitins )

My reds require less maintenance. That may just be because I don't ride that set-up into as much crap though....
