    Question New Wheels

After stumbling across Original Skateboards me and my friends ordered ourselves different boards from them, but now our wheels are getting worn and we just took what they gave us to keep it cheap. The Kryptonics 65s are okay, but not really what I'm personally looking for. I'm fairly aggressive, I do A LOT of carving and pumping, but I also like to slide quite a bit. I've road other boards with more retro style wheels and that's what I want to go for. I'm thinking of getting some Retro Zigzags (Red) but I'm afraid I won't really be able to slide as much with them. So I'm also considering Abec 11 Gumballs. I know they're both almost two totally different wheels, but I want the one that gives me the best ride quality, slides, and grip. Any suggestions beyond those too, or what's better for my style?

wait so you have 65 kryptos and are thinking that you can make gumballs or zigs slide like them? im not sure if i understood that right though. if your looking to slide go with a freeride wheel. pink powerballs, retro free ride, 70/76/81mm s9 race forms, Otang freeride, all good choices. gumballs and zigs both have a decent slide, but they are more grip oriented wheels.

    I run original boards

I have retro zigs lime on mine

    my g/f hot spots

    and my friend freeride lemons

From these 3 I have experience with the best for slide are in this order

    free ride

    hot spots

    zigzags

If i was to setup my own board again and wanted to slide and grip it would be free rides hand down.. that being said sector 9 race formula is suppose to be great; and I hope to give them a try soon!

Ps... I hate the kryptos.. the 70 mm ones weren't bad.. the 65.. were brutal imo

Well I don't personally ride the Kryptos I use my own from my old board, but my friend got his Original with Kryptos and I hate them personally, so I think I'm going to go with the gumballs because I really love to carve more than slide, but I know that once they start to get worn down they all slide eventually. And if I don't like them I'll probably order some Free Rides and swap them between moods. But I did read up on the gumballs and know that they're good all around performance, which is what I'm looking for with my well rounded style.
