    Default Garage wheels?

well ive seen people talking about cruising wheels and sliding wheels and such but what do you want for a good parking garage wheel? mainly sharp right hand turns and about 20mph top so i was thinking a larger wheel would be better but what about shape, hardness, contact path etc. what would be ideal?

Durians, they have a stone grind so you can slide them immediately.
They're free ride wheels so its perfect for anything. DH is a little sketchy but they can handle speeds up to 30mph just fine.

I got lots of boards. I ride them a lot. I enjoy Longboarding. tee hee you found me

but wouldnt you want maximum grip so you could retain speed?

I like to run smaller, radius edged wheels in garages. RainSkates Tsunamis are a nice smaller wheel. I ride earthwing 65mm 78a wheels and love'em. Grip the corners when I want and slide great.
Edit: On the max grip thing, I find garages are not fast enough to warrant a square edge wheel. At least around me

yeah ive ridden many boards in parking garages and some of the best feels were wheels with a lip like big zigs and orangatangs, and the largers wheels are faster. Im getting some lime bigzigs soon so i guess ill see how they do. and reason why you prefer smaller wheels?

smaller wheels pick up speed faster so in a garage situation they are usually good. I have a blast sliding around corners on pink powerballs, but if you get some retro freeride lime/lemon you can pretty much stick 25mph turns or slide them out if you feel like it. The slalom grip is a bit more then you need for garages. I'd vote for something along the lines of the retro freeride, s9 race form 70mm or 76mm, or otang freeride. for grip you might look to hotspots, zigzags, or 69mm race forms. the larger wheels will hold speed well, but when your only going 20mph the small ones will probably perform better.

cool cool, im also using them for cruising commuting and carving so zigs will do, plus theres nothing like those sexy lime green wheels.
