81mm S9 RFs vs 83mm flys

Go down one size for both wheels. And they both do everything you want equally well.

I have yet to try the 81mm RFs but my vote is with 83mm Flys.

I've heard mixed reviews about the RFs but I have yet to hear anything bad about 83mm, 81a Flys.

i love both sets of 83mm flys that i own. one is 75a they are about to be cored. the other is 81a they have a while left. the slide is awesome from both of them and they both grip pretty well. i actually get better traction from the 81a's than the 75a's. the 75a's slide just a little smoother though. they mostly regrip smoother. the 81a's have a much longer lifespan though.

from my experience with them i would get the 81a's again instead of the 75a's. i also am thinking that the 78a might be the middled ground that combines ther strengths.

i've got both as well and for me i like the s9's a lot more because for me, the slide is butter smooth and still has pretty good grip for a radiused lip wheel.
