Reds Or Black Panthers???

I am gettin a loaded dervy and i was wondering whether to get bones reds for bearings or black panthers

Reds are the best all round bearing. They're cheap, easy to clean, roll well, and last a long long time.

i personally prefer reds over any bearing, but that is just me. MHS bearings are also very nice.

they would be way more expensive, if they were made in America. But they are made in china, so we get them for suppa cheap.

Cheap price is the only good thing that comes from things being made in china haha I have to wait until mid june for my board which sucks because paris trucks are made in china and like everywhere is sold out

Black Panthers are crap apparently.
I think they sell because they have a nice design on the box,... and look like serious bearings.
I wouldnt touch them.
Let the park skaters buy them, and brag about their abec 7 leet-ness.

The box goes with their studded belts, skinny pants and boofy hair that they have spent too much time on.

haha leadfoot that was funny I also hate those modern day skater emo pieces of #### but i had panthers on a previous board and they were pretty good but I am highly considering the switch to reds

Yeah well,... now you have a baseline to compare bearings. I like reds too,... but I also like Rockin Rons and Biltins.
Biltins I love for the simplicity of changing wheels and Rockin Rons for the precision, seals and speed.

u forgot studded belts lol. skinny jeans and boofy hair i can kinda see though.... i hate skinny jeans unless their on a girl.... if it was on me it would be like wearing spandex and everything would b hangin out.

on topic: i'd go with reds. i like them and extremely easy to clean once u get the materials

There are several American companies that get their bearings produced by the same Chinese manufacturer, among them being Bones and Black Panthers.

Reds are nice rolling, reliable and smooth. Keep them lubed and they'll last a long time.

sorry this is totally off topic but i have like a 1 month old s9 pipeline and i was wondering what to do to make it faster right now my setup is
bearings:greaseballs abec 5
deck: s9 pipeline
trucks:gullwing alpine 180mm
wheels: s9 70mm 78a
please help me out

I have a set of black panthers that i got for free from amazon after they screwed up my order a few times, they came with

anyway they are lasting really long. longer than the MHS and 'bulls eye' bearings that i got around the same time.

though my only requirement of bearings is for them to be inexpensive. I've never paid over $10 for a set

otangs aren't the best...there is no best...

at the guy who was asking about the S9, bigger wheels will mean you can reach a higher topspeed and maintain that speed, but smaller wheels mean you'll pick up speed faster, bearings shouldn't make too much of a difference to roll speed unless they're frozen up in which case you wont be rolling very far at all
