step 1: go to buy the cheapest set of removable shield bearings you can find multiple sets are good but not a necesity

step 2: remove shields (they can let water be trapped in the races)

step 3: apply grease to taste (i use machining grease or motor oil)

You have to do it yourself. If you can afford to buy full ceramics, surely you can buy a $3 tube of lithium grease.

How I do it (step by step for teh n00bz)

clean grime from shields, I find its easier with the shield on the bearing



Remove shield with a small flat screw driver or exacto knife or whatever else works for you



I like the bones/oust bottle the best, I use Acetone for the first wash



I also have a home made cleaning bottle with 99% alcohol for the final rinse



you only need enough to fill 3 pockets in the races between the balls imo.



but you can do less or more depending on your preference and type of grease/lubricant. like with just a dab over every ball

waterproof bearings. done.
