I've been enjoying my 36" Logan Cruiser for a couple months now--pretty much following the kids around on their bikes, mostly flat-ish asphalt trails and roads. Lots of pushing, a little mellow cruising. Two big thumbs up.
I ordered the board direct from Gravity and had it shipped with 78a Street Gs. In spite of widespread opinion around here, I figured--being the newb casual rider that I am--I wouldn't notice the wheels being "slow." Well, after a short ride on a friends board (running some kind of Zig Zags), the difference was not subtle. His board was easier to push and rolled much further than mine, hands-down. Granted, his wheels were larger (75mm?), but I can't help but think I might enjoy running a different wheel.
Recommendations?
It looks like Gravity has changed-up its wheel line, and the Logan Cruiser is shipping with Burners--are these faster than the Street Gs? Maybe I ordered my board a month too early. Should I try a different brand? Different size? 70mm?
Thanks for the input.
