    Steel is preferred.

Spacer size is independent from whether your board is short or long.

Any complete that doesn't come with spacers isn't complete.

you'd get regular bearings and not the 10mm bearings

standard beraing size doesn't depend on the wheel, it depends on the axle of the truck; most truck axles are 8mm, but some others have 10mm axles, which require 10mm bearings (precisions,10mm bear grizzlies, etc.)

But even the 10mm and 8mm bearings will all fit inside those wheels.

huntaboi, it seems most longboard wheels take 10mm wide spacers and most probably your axles are 8mm

most of the time you see spacers sold as 8mm spacers and 10mm spacers. 8mm are 8mm wide and go on a 8mm axle. 10mm are 10mm wide and go on a 8mm axle.

it´s a bit confusing but most probably you want 10mmx8mm spacers. there aren´t many 8mm wide spacers for 10mm axles so just go with that

ok so i think i´m confusing you

if you just see 8mm or 10mm get 10mm

if you see 8x8 or 10x8 or 10x10 get 10x8

it would be really helpful if you posted what wheels you have, though.

edit: whoops you posted the rest of your setup i guess. i guess 10mm spacers go on those wheels. just as i speculated.

and never buy aluminum spacers. i had some and almost broke my bearings. i like to really tighten the axles hard so could be partly my fault. but i don´t see any gain in aluminum.

95% of the popular wheels take a 0.400" wide spacer. Some wheels--like Kryptonics--need 0.300" wide spacers. These are often incorrectly referred to as "10mm" and "8mm," respectively. While many consider these measurements to be equivalent, they're not.

Axles come in two diameters--5/16" and 10mm. There's also a "true" 8mm OD axle, but it's rare, and spacers designed for the 5/16" will fit 99% of the time. Chances are that, unless you have some fancy DH trucks, you need the smaller diameter spacers.

Every wheel that I sell that utilizes 0.400" bearing spacers comes with free bearing spacers. Eases confusion, and makes the bearings last longer and run smoother and quieter.

And as I've said before, any complete that doesn't include spacers isn't complete.

    i also got a question...
i bought myself some 3dm aliva wheels, and i am not sure if these are going to fit on my gullwing stalker trucks (the stalker-trucks are 8mm-trucks by the way). the wheels need a 10 mm bearing spacer, so is it possible to mount the wheels on the truck? or will the hanger be too short for the screws?

Those wheels have 0.400" bearing spacing. You need a spacer that's 0.400" wide, and fits an 8mm axle (actually 5/16").

so i need a 10.16 mm spacer instead of an 10 mm spacer? is there so much difference?
and what about the 2 O- rings which are placed on the outside of the 2 abec, are they both necessary?
