Well folks I sent pictures of the lemon zigs to ABEC 11 so we'll see what happens. I'm not setting my hopes too high though it would be sweet if they'd send me a new set.

Well, one day when I was skating on my board, I lost control a bit and one wheel slid under a unfinished metal edge of a ramp. Put a nice cut right into one of my Retro Bertz. Totally my own fault, of course...

Anyway, when I got home I just opened the cut as much as I could and then dripped a little bit of super glue into the cut, and squeezed it closed. I've ridden those wheels quite a bit since, and it's never opened up.

Might be worth a try if you want to resurrect those wheels.

Not so hard to figure out...That's what happens when you slide wheels made for grip.

I heard back from Retro today about my lemon zigs. They said it looks like a bad pour and that they'll send out a replacement wheel. I suppose i'll keep it around to replace the first wheel that chunks on me. I might try that super glue idea, it seems like it would work.
Any ideas about breaking in one new wheel, i would guess that it will screw up my ride until it is broken in.

I would practice one wheel manuals. or find a treadmill and ride your boar on the treadmill with one wheel on the treadmill and the other 3 off it or some thing like that. or get some 40 grit sandpaper and start rubbing.

BEHOLD! It seems Mr. Chaput and gang over at ABEC 11 came thru for me. I arrived home from work today and found the mail carrier left a fresh set of Lemon Zigs at my door.
I'm probably going to wait to throw them on till my old zigs are ripped to hell. Ah, the sweet smell of new urethane.

Sweet dude. Glad to hear everything worked out for you.

Chaput is running a great business. Good word of mouth is a business' best friend.
