Ive got a set of 88a strickers they slide really good, i wish i had gone a bit softer some of the roads near me are a bit rough but there ok. I recon you could slide the 84 and 81 almost as easy, i supose i depends on the smothness of your roads. I recon you should go with 84 its the midle of the road, that style of the wheel is designed to slide. So both should slide easy enough with some practice. A lot of how easy you slide depends on your set up like your trucks, you need them loose enough to turn into it to try and strt to initiate the slide. Hope this was some help to you have fun

Go with 84a, they will slide just as well as the 88a's however they will carve alot better when you dont want to slide! Kinda the best of both worlds...

Between the two I would go with 84a, but personally I think 78a and 81a would be best.

    84a

If you are going to use them exclusively for sliding, and will barely ride them apart from that, then you might consider the 88a. But personally, I feel like that's a bit overkill. Like they said above, the 84a will slide very close to the same, but will carve much better.

dont go 88a. your brain will explode.
no but seriously, ive got them in 88a, and i think theyre a tad too hard, 84a should be nicer, and the shape is after all what is the deciding factor. ive got 89a zigzags that grip like a motherfuker

My friend has 78a gumballs and I have 84a. The only difference between them is that mine are lasting a lot longer with the same abuse. Compared to 78a, I am not limited with how deep I can carve.

Bottom line, go with 84a. There is no need to go harder, and they will slide plenty.

dude.. strykers slide well at 78a. 81-83 should be the sweet spot though. yeah they slide better but less predictable the higher you go in duro.

I've got some 77mm-84a Strikers on my FSM that slide beautifully. I honestly never thought wheels could slide like this. Very controllable and predictable.
