I can't say anything about them but clear/translucent thane tends to be rather slow and feel dead.

They are gonna be slow, made in china, and sold by people who don't even skate.
you get what you pay for.

but i think i might get them just to see how theyre gonna do on downhill, and considering theyre big and soft, they will be only sluggish at slow speeds. besides, i rather get a shitton of cheap wheels than invest into some quality wheels that will cost 3 times the price. if theyre fun, but dont last too long, i might just get another set.
im a cheapskate. (pun)
But if you buy four sets and they wear out in less than a month because they are junk then you could have gotten some flywheels, seimics, or any other awesome good reputable wheel that will last a long time.
Besides I would think wheels that cheap are prone to chunking or disintegrating at inopportune times, probably making you dead in the process.

i dont think i can kill a wheel in a month.
i buought some el cheapo system martin 70mm 78a wheels and i dont think i even worn down 2 milimeters after riding them for bout 4-6 months. i do a lot a drifting, carving, and other things. theyre really fast for their size too, i hit 40mph (my bud in the car in front of me said we were cruising at that speed).best 30 dollars invested in wheels.

macplo is poor. he's already running noname wheels with noname bearings on randals and an old krackedskulls board inherited for ridiculously cheap. he has his reasons for being a cheapskate.
I would have to say that although running these cheap as hell, giant wheels may be good for cruising, investing in something like even abec 11 freerides would be more worth your money, simply because they will 1) last longer 2) ride better 3) you know that there is a warantee backing your purchase. this company reminds of the cheap sh*t scooter wheels you get for $5 at target. they chunk and they're dead in like 3 days. not worth the money.

i washed my noname bearings with car engine degreaser, and lubed them with some noname 15 year old lube tube i found in my garage, and they spin quietly for 3-4 minutes. the bearings are a bit of a turdmagnet, but they really maintain good speeds. another best 15 bucks on bearings.
back to the wheels, i might check them out, just for the sake of checking them out.

actually, not inexpensive. they are cheap. when i got them, there was still excess urethane #### attached to the center of the wheels and at the edges. i had to trim that off, and then it rounded itself out after riding. still today, the seam where the 2 halves of the wheel are attached ast VISIBLE. thats not too good, its cheap.
