    Question really need some help.

I have never long boarded before and i am buying a set of Randal 180's that come with Abec 11 gumball wheels, i have a choice of either 75A or 84A both have the size of 76mm.

Any suggestions on what ones cause i need to buy them soon?

P.s sorry if i posted this already in other threads im a bit of a noob

The gumballs are already a pretty drifty wheel. Unless you live around really really crappy pavement I'd get the 75.
84 would be a bit too hard IMO and you'd be wishing you hadn't purchased it.

That being said, I've never tried an 84 gumball...but the 78a's i tried didnt hold grip THAT well.
This is Silverfish, take it with a grain of salt. It's fun to come back to at the end of the day, but nothing beats the real deal. Make your own judgments and form your own opinions. Remember whose lens you're looking through!

    What does IMO mean?

And i read some places that the 75A can melt or something?
But once i worn them down a bit they will be a bit harder or softer?

    In My Opinion

75a shouldn't melt unless its super hot were you live

they will stay the same Duromator (how soft or hard) when they wear down

If your wheels melt then you are longboarding in the wrong place

what are you gonna be using your board for? if you're cruising and just commuting i think the 74A would be good. 84A is abit too hard for my liking

I have 75a gumballs, they're awesome wheels. So good for cruising and carving and they can slide if you want to. I wouldn't even consider the 84a, they just wouldn't be as fun.

You sir are thinking too much. The 84a will give a faster ride and slide quicker than the 75a on good pavement, but the 75a will be plenty fast and will be super cushy for you. If you're a beginner, you'll be happy with the 75a, they're high quality wheels, get them.
