    Default Bearing Cleaning double Check

I have a set of Bones Super Reds, i recently rode them in the rain and decided to clean them, I've heard stuff like Acetone and Kerosene work well to clean them but i didn't have those, but i heard gasoline works just as well and that was something i had. I'll list the steps i went through to clean my bearings and please let me know if i made any mistakes.

    1 Remove rubber seals
2 Place bearings in container and soak them in gasoline Let them soak for 15 minutes
3 Then remove bearings from Container and place in separate container that holds 93% Isopophyl Alcohol.
4 Remove form alcohol and leave out to dry( I used a blow drier just to be safe)
(at this point the bearings spun perfectly fine and smooth but after the next step they barely spun)
5 Add bones speed cream( i added around 3 to 4 drops)

After that i placed them back into the wheels and spun them they spun fine is this normal? I hear that you have to wait for the bearing to move the cream around the whole bearing to get the Full effect is this true? As I said before please let me know if i did anything wrong during the cleaning process.
    THanks

Sounds perfectly normal to me, they always spins faster dry. Two drops of speed cream is enough.

The speed cream is expensive. Do what blix said, 2 drops. Even 1 will work fine.
