wheels galore!
so could u do some slides on 78a's? like not anything technical just some speed checks, either standing up or sitting down? mayb 1 80 every now and then, or a pressure spin? cuz those r tricks i'd be doing and if it is possible to do with 78's i would prolly get some gumballs.

Re: wheels galore!
You can slide on any wheel. However, it is easier to slide harder wheels. 78a's are fairly easy to slide. A lot depends on wheel shape too though.

If they are S9's Ghost thane wheels then yes.
They're chalky like Krypto's

Why don't you go out and try giving these wheels a slide or two? There is no written rule in some hidden rule book that says you're not allowed to slide wheels below a certain duro. Asking silverfish won't help you find the answer. Only doing will.

78 or 80a gravity drifters is reeally sweet. What size wheels and what board will you be using? Gravity higrades are awesome to for a 76mm/80a

how do the hi-grades slide? I won a set at the NJ slide comp, and did some DH on them today. as of now the slide is choppy but thats to be expected since they're still not fully broken it.

Re: wheels galore!
Yeah man when they break in they are like drifters but just wider. I just enjoy that wider safe feelin when sliding and they seem to wear better than drifters.

The Hi-Grades are nice, i got mine on my hypercarve a month or two ago and they slide great!

sounds perfect, I'm planning on useing them for dh and wouldn't feel comfortable on a wheel that would have a really choppy slide at higher speeds.

probably around 15mph. according to my gps watch my fastest standup slide was 19.5mph so definitely not over that.
the wheels are the old red/orange 70mm kryptos (78a to the best of my knowledge), I definitely recommend them I had a set of blues before these also amazing. By far my favorite wheels, much smoother than powerballs, strikers, and freerides. next on my list to try are the o-tangs and drifters.
