stupid bearing question

im going to get a new set of bearings. this may sound stupid but i just want to make sure if theres a difference with the normal skateboard bearing and a longboard bearing. if theres a difference, how would i know?

Skateboard bearings are skateboard bearings. Ride those till they die.

tight enough so there's no slop. but loose enough for free spin. id slowly crank down on em till you feel the nut stop, then you're good to go.
