Default Need the grippiest 70mm and below

I'm gonna be running a nimble setup on my Bustin Spliff with blue venoms all around. I'm just having trouble looking for a really grippy wheel for pedestrian slalom when I get back to school. However I want the wheel to have some good roll speed as well. With the riser I've tested, the biggest wheel I can accommodate is 70mm.

Some wheels I have in mind are:
    77a Pink ZigZags 70mm
    75a or 77a Tunnel Tarantulas 70mm
    75a Flashbacks 70mm
    77a Avalons 68mm

Basically, I want minimal to no slide, high grip, and a fast wheel. Any help narrowing down my choices would be great.

Flashbacks DO NOT grip. 69mm race form? 72a avilas
At the top of a hill at a very rapid speed there's only one place to go.
At the top of a hill at a very high speed there's nowhere to go but down.

The Flashies aren't that sticky. If it were up to me I'd go with the Avalons...that lip just screams stickiness.

To be quite honest I find the Bustin Bocas to be rather grippy. They are my favorite wheel for campus freeriding. Its too bad to here that the spliff wont do avilas because those are my fav pedestrian wheel.

If you can't fit Avilia's, just get 68mm Avalons.

TTs and 3dms are super grippy. You will want 3DM Avalons. 4pres are pretty grippy for 80a as well.

    Grippiest.

Any reason why you pick the Avalons over the Tarantulas?

I can vouch for the s9 69mm 78a RF. They are so amazing. They grip hard and slide when needed.

I would think it's because the lip on the Avalons is a little sharper.

Just the urethane formula. All 3dm formulas are grippier than the average. For a completely random example, 80a (Orange)4pres are much grippier than 80a (Lime)ZigZags. Kind of like, why are size 10 Vans bigger than size 11 Chucks etc? Thats just how things are. TTs are super grippy as well. Similar feeling wheel actually. 3dms just grip better (I think they were originally poured for slalom, which makes sense since grippy wheels are essential in slalom.)

Dude I don't know about Seven-0's, and I agree with the Avilas, but despite the name, grippins aren't the grippiest, and Lime Zigs just doesn't make any sense. Retro makes some of the driftiest urethane forumla. Even the pink wheels drift well. I have had a few sets of Lime Zigs and Lime BigZigs, and they have always been driftier than the average 80a wheel. I don't understand why you wouldn't at least advise the Pink Zigs?

because at the end of the day those are from my own riding experience, grippy wheels that don't try and kill you when it all goes wrong.

besides that, i honestly didn't remember that 77a zigz exsisted....still living in the day where they weren't available.

plus, there is an awful lot of opinion and preference in any thread....

    exactly: opinion and preference

I know some people on the 'fish call the grippins slippins and I also know that all wheels can be slid, but I have found the grippins to be great for traction. I have the 75a, but also the 84a and they grip surprisingly well.

Same thing with the EW Superballs, some said they gripped like mad and others disagreed. I've put hundreds of miles on mine and they grip just fine.
