    Default wheel help

what wheels would be best for my dervish set up (see sig) that have A LOT of grip and handle very well through gravely roads? (some roads around here have gravel patches that if i turn through i do an accidental slide.)

    opinions would be much appreciated

Before you judge someone, take a 1,000 mile walk in their shoes. That way, you'll be 1,000 miles away from them, and you'll have their shoes

Look into Availas (<----messed up the spelling, i know) I hear they are very grippy, and you can get very low duros.

If you go for Otangs (meh, i wouldn't suggest it) go with Orange inheats

    why otangs?
gumballs are cheaper. 78a. or bigzigs. or zig zags. anything under 81a with a square edge thats cheaper than loaded products.

He has gumballs now, and I guess they aren't working out.

I'm not a huge fan of bigzig's absorbtion. Great wheel, but from my experience, not what your looking for.

I don't know what's up with you guys and Otangs for everything.

For absolute rough road and absorption soft Avilas have NO equal. 72a if you want crazy soft and 77a if the thought of chunking makes you shiver.

They grip crazy too. One of the widest wheels you can get. More contact=more material to grab the road.

EDIT: Gravel is pretty much always gonna make you slide rough, but wider definitely holds a little more control when going over scattered rocks and helps you to catch yourself from some unexpected slips.

i didnt see that you already had gumballs. but as far as grip and dampening, there is no such thing as a magic wheel, and plenty of people buy this wheel for that exact purpose. i dont think you need new equipment; just go skate what you've got.

if youre going to get avillas then you might want to try grapey apes from purpleskunk.com they are avillas and 72a i have never rode them but they look ridiculously grippy if thats what you want. i dont know much about these wheels but look into them if you want. plus they look delicous
Why would i name my board? That's like naming your kid. Ridiculous.
