    Default Downhill and slidy wheels.

Hi, I'm new here. I've been longboarding for about two months now and it's great fun.

My brother and I found some nice spots where we have made a sort of track with speed, sharp turns and much sliding. I run a Sector 9 Hills Red with Randal R-II 180mm and Abec11 Flywheels 76mm, 78a. But now I would like to try some different type of wheels. What kind of wheels would you suggest?

They have to be kind of downhill and slippery wheels. Good for speed but also sliding.

Orangatang Durians or Stimulus are awesome. They are the same wheel just one is 75mm and the other is 70mm. They are fast and great for sliding plus have grip when you need it! If you don't like them then Sector 9 Race Formula are another good choice.

Yeah, I know I can't have it all. My brother just bought them and I must say they are very nice to ride with. Some other ideas?

i'd say what youve got is good for now. i used gumballs as my everything wheels for a long time - same duro, but sharp edges unlike flys.

Your flys sound perfect for what you are doing. They grip when you want and slide when you want. That's how mine have always been.
