    Use the search forum tool.

If everyone explained everything to each thread, there would be pure chaos.

smaller wheels are technically slower than larger ones just get anything between 60mm to 70mm and youll be set unless you have a specific kind of riding in mind. i think shape and duro are more important for wheels than size. rounded wheels side easier than square edged ones and square ones can be more unpredictable when sliding. as for duro its kinda obvious. harder slide better and have less traction than softer ones that will still slide with more effort but grip the road better.

70mm is the perfect size. really anywhere from 66mm-75mm is good for your general board. if its topmounted and you ride loose trucks go with the 70mm or below wheel so you dont get wheel bite. or just get risers if you really want 75mm wheels

not to be a douche but smaller wheels accelerate faster than larger wheels but larger wheels maintain their speed better from what i was told here on the fish, if you want to get technical. other wise the rest of your post is good information

yeah it sucks for me because im light and dont maintain speed that well. so im kinda forced to use larger wheels to make up for my weight

the size of the flywheels are around 83mm-97mm. can you avoid wheelbite on those wheels? you dont use riser on those dh board right?

well mainly you want to get your deck set first. then think about trucks. then the type of wheels you want for your riding. completes are usually set up for no wheel bite at all. so completes are normally the best idea for beggining. cuz, thats what i did.

ive found you can do pretty much whatever you want. some things are better than others but you can alway get used to a different set up if you want. depends on the deck a lot can fit bigger flys i saw a short little s9 pintal that had had big old flys on it you can fit them on a lot of dh boards and you could put risers on a dh board but personally its not recommended

A topmount deck will generally work best with wheels of 70mm or smaller.

Wheelwells and/or cutouts may allow for larger wheels, but will increase deck height.

Larger wheels are typically best used on drop through with cutouts and/or drop decks.
