ive been been using sidewinders on my fsmini for the past month and i love em so far. i havent been on drifters so i cant compare, but ive been on stimulus. and i cant say that one is better than the other, they just have different feels to them. when im pushing, i like the stimulus, but when im carving hills, i love having the sidewinders underneath.

well i was only on the stimulus (which were brand new, not broken in btw) for about 15 minutes, where as ive been riding the sidewinders for a month. so i cant really give an accurate comparison, but heres what id say: i think the sidewinders break free faster and feel better in terms of sliding. (also keep in mind, im not that good at it and im still learning). but the stimulus is a bit wider and it does feel like a smoother ride.
again, i cant really compare the two due to lack of knowledge and skill, but at the end of the day, im keeping my sidewinders over the stimulus.

I think I finally solidified my decision to get Sidewinders over Stims as my next set of wheels... I need to clear out some I don't use first though... I have a set of Strikers I don't use, Drifters I'll probably stop using...
Ah, I'm radiusing my In Heats anyway so getting more Otangs would be silly

Im thinking of putting the 61mm street snakes on a BE40 for a cruising wheel. I have other wheels for parks so for transportation and learning how to ollie and what not how do you think the street snakes would be?
I like the streetsnakes too. I was a little surprised at how nice they ride for their size. Cruising/carving is all I do at the time anyway. You could prolly slide the hell out of 'em too but if you need a small wheel and don't want the fillings rattled out of your teeth... you'll like 'em.

the streetsnakes have by far THE smoothest slide i've ever slid. i thought the sidewinders were butter smooth, but the smaller profile on these make them insanely smooth. too hard to describe but you gotta see for yourself. this was all when me and zak were doin some pool board DH and up top, they were light enough that i was still poppin tre flips. i'd definately recommend the street snakes for commuting because theyre light for ollies and you can still bust a quick slide if you need to, but you wont be doing so many slides that the wheels only last 3 weeks.

What duro Stimulus is everybody comparing to? Purple or yellow?
I'm looking into new wheels to replace my ovalized set of Drifters (big disappointment in all honesty) and the contendents are Sidewinders, yellow Stims and EW Freeriders... and maybe even 84a Flashies. Venoms might be amazing, but they are also hella expensive (even more so than Otangs) in EU.
