Exclamation Yo are these good? They look good...never seen em but they look good

Im looking at these wheels and they look decent....they kind of look like retros. Im lookin at this wheel cause im broke. I really want to slide but my old wheel is terrible it chatters so much. I cant stand up slide with them. These wheels look slideable and grippy. I WAS WONDERING ARE THEY ANY GOOD? HAS ANYBODY TRIED THEM? DO YOU THINK THEY CAN SLIDE GOOD?

Heres the Link from Ebay:LONGBOARD Skateboard YELLOW WHEELS 70mm+ABEC7 BEARINGS - eBay (item 200384066684 end time Nov-13-09 12:59:04 PST)

My old wheels are Seismic blue hotspots 69mm 83a. They suck at sliding. Would these be better? I JUST WANNA STAND UP SLIDE.

PLEASE I NEED INFO ON THIS WHEEL. MAHALO.

there's a lot of this crap on ebay. I ordered a fake ipod and got ripped off, and i know other people that have ordered china crap from ebay and got ripped off too.

for cheap (well not that cheap) but good wheels, here's what i recommend:
dano's downhills (daddies board shop brand, actually quite good despite the cheep sounding name)
Longboard Skateboard & Snowboard Shop - Daddies Board Shop - Since 1995 - Search
kryptonic route 70s (though some people might not like these, these are what i have on my current (cheap) board)
    Kryptonic Route 70's 70mm 78a Longboard Wheels
earthwing slide a (SMALL wheels for sliding and stuff)
    Earthwing 62mm Slide A Superballs - Set of 4
    or some s9 wheels
Sector 9 Bamboo Wheels 70mm 75a Set of 4 wheels
Sector 9 70mm 78a Nineball Longboard Wheels Set of 4

you are paying more for any of these than the ebay ones. don't go py price though. If you want ones that are like retros that you said the ebay ones were, give the dano's downhills a shot maybe.
all te wheels i just linked are different and made for different stuff. so just save up an extra 25 bucks and get some good wheels.

yeah, first off, those are square-lipped wheels, not ideal for sliding anyhow. from my unfortunate experience, cheap wheels really really suck. not worth saving the extra 10 bucks or whatever. they may LOOK like "real" skateboard wheels, but the urethane will feel slow yet bumpy and they won't break free well. it's like they've managed to come up with the worst urethane formula ever for those cheapies.

another place to look for decent but cheap wheels is the Longboard Store "System" brand. my son has a set -- they're ok. not great at all, but not awful. they don't ride like the super lousy chinese cheap-o imports you get on Krowns or other EBay deals.

If you need some Slide A's w/some cheap bearings, PM me.

But being on topic, those look okay, but china usually means road rash on longboard products so...
    Decks: LY Spud, RB DH37
    Trucks: Black Randals, Stealth
Wheels: S9 Bomb Hills 80a, Gravity Burners 77a, Slide As

I actually got some of these. Came w/a decent set of cheap bearings for 29 bucks shipped. They are pretty OK. They don't feel "fast" though.

Hey fella who bought these for his son, you feel like these are kinda slowish?

OTOH, if you want a set of wheels to slide on - basically to wreck in a long afternoon of wheel-wasting fun - these'd be a good call.

On chinese wheels in general, it's wicked it or miss. I have a set of 87mm 77a "Tsunami" wheels - look like Speedvents - and they are some of the best wheels I have ever used. They were cheap, are super grippy, and are insanely fast. I have also never seen them available as a set on Ebay again, which is too bad.

i would not recomment the nineballs for sliding at all, terrible wheels to slide
the biotane wheels from sector 9 are actually have a very decent slide from my experience, they are about $5 for a set than the nineballs though

you can only 180 slide on original trucks

my guess is you just need to learn to standup slide.

that said danos down hills ftw!!

What are you talking about? Why can't you slide originals?
At the top of a hill at a very rapid speed there's only one place to go.
At the top of a hill at a very high speed there's nowhere to go but down.

they carve too much and too quickly, it just doesn't work. you can just break your back wheels free but if you want to hold an actual slide you will end up riding switch.
