70mm Rainskates Tsunami 85a

With talk of Earthwing creating a 70mm Slide wheel, It got me thinking if Creative Urethane had the mold to making a 70mm Rainskates Tsunami.

Maintaining the same ratio; Height/Width (1.55) and Height/Contact-Patch (2.70)

I got dimensions of H 70mm x W 45mm x CP 26mm

The 65mm orange Tsunami is the original Rainskates wheel, and has been smoothing out rough terrain for skaters for 7 years now. The high-rebound 85a durometer urethane is like Superball material, and knocks down pretty much anything in your way.They were joined by the 59mm Mini-T a few years later, and this past year with the 62mm Mid size, filling the last slot in the lineup.



I think a 70mm would make a fast fun wheel, more thane depth would open up a bigger niche market, from park/bowl to ditch, freeride and the classic 70mm wheel seen on many completes.

Rainskates has a unique thane formula from Creative Urethane Inc, their hard black cores are probably the most precise and consistent I've ever ridden, they roll and slide very smoothly.


I'd like to see how many skaters would be stoked on this wheel, to then send this link to Pete at Rainskates and convince him on making a production.

McDonald's is always hiring and pretty alright work if you work in the back and it all has become muscle memory. Working at McD's does not suck as bad as everyone makes it out to be, it's usually pretty fun.
