The Otang 4Prez 80a are pretty plush and 70mm. Not trying to turn this into a Loaded thread but thought I'd throw it out there.

70mm 80a zigzags, my favorite wheel for cruising. grippy, smooth, fast, hold speed, and just glide along. the 78a pinks arent bad, but they are slower and i think the amount of "cushion" added by their softer ride is out weighed by the speed they lack.

ive ridden sub 70mm wheels and kept getting hung up on cracks in the road, never got stopped dead in my tracks but a big crack was a big bump for my smaller wheels.

Because I'm definitely going with 70mm or lower, I think I'll go with the Avalons.

Unless anyone else has any suggestions and/or input?
    Here's a win / win.
Unless you absolutely cannot run 75mm, go get some Skunk Grapey Apes.
If they don't put you in cruising, carving heaven, then you'll sell or swap them to me for a different set of wheels (new or so close you probably won't be able to tell)
You'll forward your invoice from PS and I'll pay you the same thing. That's how much I love these wheels and I'm in the stock piling mode in case they screw things up and change the formula or discontinue them.

You can only get them at Purple Skunk but they are my favorite carving wheel, only followed by the original Big80's that were an error at 77a.

Just how big a boy are you? I'm 210-220 depending on how I'm dressed or what time of the day it is. These grapey apes are fun and you can carve the hell out of 'em. I'm on fairly rough road too. Smooth, quiet and fast. For the most recent input, just ask RodRod. He got a set yesterday, slapped 'em on his deeznutz and it sounds like he's in carving heaven.

any wheel poured with purethane has more vibration dampening than any other wheel i've ridden. can't go wrong with earthwing.
