My first question is a curious one about the wheel side wall shapes... I didn't even know personally they made a wheel with a single radius on the outside of the wheel. I was wondering if anyone has any experience with this type of wheel since it seems to be the inbetween for the 100% contact and 50% contact. The one they use in their example are Kyptonic classic K's. I know alot of people don't like these wheels but I was wondering of the disadvantages and why exactly people don't like them?
The second question might be just a miscalculation by me but I was wondering how the article figures that softer wheels slide better on rough pavement and harder wheels slide better on smooth pavement... I would figure the grippyness of softer wheels would have better grip/contact on rough pavement because the wheels would compensate for the valleys/grooves shown in the image above... Maybe I'm just wrong lol...
Thanks for reading tried to make it short and sweet.
